Welcome to The Wig Plug (thewigplugct.co.za), operated by The Wig Plug (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in South Africa (Registration Number 2026/637029/07). By accessing or using this website, or purchasing any products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and anyone purchasing products through thewigplugct.co.za. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Products and Pricing

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing on our site are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order at our discretion.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Payment must be received in full before an order is processed and shipped. We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Please refer to that policy for the general eligibility criteria and process for requesting a return.

5.1 Hygiene Policy

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of hair products, wigs are only eligible for return if:

• The item is faulty, defective, or materially different from what was ordered;
• The wig is unworn, unaltered, and returned in its original packaging with all tags and protective liners intact; and
• The return request is made within the timeframe specified in our Refund Policy.

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on wigs that have been worn, styled, cut, coloured, washed, or otherwise altered, unless the item is faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 in respect of defective goods.

5.2 Faulty Items

If you receive a faulty or defective wig, please contact us via our Contact page within a reasonable time of delivery, along with photos of the fault, so we can assess your claim and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

6. Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, to the extent that it applies to your purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site - including text, images, logos, and graphics - is the property of The Wig Plug (Pty) Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Wig Plug (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your purchase of our products.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
